Dr. Martin earned her PhD from University of Texas at Austin in Communication Studies. She is one of the Midwest’s

foremost experts in long term care insurance. She has 25+ years of experience selling this product, frequently ranking as

one of the top sales professionals in the nation.

In 2012, she founded Mrs. LTC, Inc., to focus on claim advocacy for policy holders and their families. She is an

accomplished speaker , having spoken over the years for several State Bar Associations, NAELA Chapters, and care

communities on the topic of claims.

She is the author of two books on Amazon:

Long Term Care Claim Filing: A Field Guide for Prince(s) Dutiful -- a how-to book for policy holders and their

family who are working on an LTC claim.

Handing Down the Kingdom: A guide book for getting your documents and affairs in order for the last stage of

In her non-professional life, she is a Mom and Grandmother. She also – by choice – has no TV. It is an odd choice in

today’s world. But she finds she has no time for TV – there are important things to do! Like gardening, keeping honey

bees, riding her bike, playing bluegrass music, and teaching the grandkids bad knock-knock jokes.
